This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer with a strong background in DevOps, build automation, and embedded software to take on a leadership role shaping delivery pipelines and best practices.ResponsibilitiesLead the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for embedded software projectsOwn and evolve build systems, source control, and release processesAutomate and streamline build, test, and integration workflows across the teamProvide technical leadership and mentorship in DevOps practices for embedded systemsCollaborate with developers on cross-compilation, toolchains, and hardware integrationContribute to embedded software development in C/C++, supporting integration and troubleshootingTroubleshoot and continuously improve build/release infrastructure and workflowsChampion best practices in configuration management, DevOps, and software qualitySkills & ExperienceProven experience leading build/release or DevOps engineering in embedded software environmentsStrong proficiency in C and C++ programming for embedded systemsExperience with C/C++ build environments, toolchains, and cross-compilation workflowsStrong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI, DevOps)Deep understanding of Git or similar version control systemsStrong scripting/programming skills (Python, Bash, or similar)Familiarity with embedded hardware workflows and debugging integration issuesExperience with containerisation (Docker) or virtualisationKnowledge of test automation frameworks for embedded platformsExposure to Agile/Scrum methodologiesPrevious leadership/mentoring experience in an engineering teamWhat’s on OfferPermanent role with a competitive salary and benefits packageOpportunity to lead challenging embedded projects with real-world impactA leadership role within a highly skilled and collaborative engineering teamLocationCambridge, England, United Kingdom #J-18808-Ljbffr
