Salary: up to £75,000 (doe) + Bonus and an extensive benefits package

A Cambridgeshire based leader in the design and development of innovative safety detection products is looking for a Lead Embedded Software Engineer to join their multi-skilled team of engineers and scientists.

This role will suit a competent hands-on engineer looking to be the technical authority for all Embedded development, with proven experience in taking products from concept through to production. Reporting directly to the Technical Director, you will be leading a small team of engineers, overseeing the delivery of work and ensuring best working practices for your team.

Key skills they are looking for are:

• Extensive experience in Embedded C
• Bare-Metal programming
• Ability to line manage, lead and coach other team members
• Experience with Linux would be a plus
• Previous experience in a regulated environment would also be a plus.

They operate on a hybrid set-up with their office based in North Cambridge and are offering a salary in the range of £60,000 - £75,000, alongside a 10% bonus and 10% pension, private medical insurance, share scheme and more.
