What will you do?

• Lead by doing: serve as a hands-on engineer and mentor. Write code, review pull requests, and guide the Stream Team as they enhance the VOD service, launch the Live Streaming product, and expand the video player.
• Shape technical direction: collaborate with Engineering Leadership and Product Management to define architecture, set priorities, and align streaming initiatives with company goals.
• Own product delivery: manage the full engineering lifecycle — conceptualize, design, code, test, and deploy new features across VOD, live streaming, and the video player.
• Champion quality and performance: establish coding standards, conduct code reviews, and optimize for scalability, reliability, and low latency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: work with Product, Sales, Support, and UX to ensure releases deliver real value to users.
• Implement team best practices: apply Team Topologies to enable high-performance collaboration and streamline workflows for ongoing improvements and greenfield initiatives.

What will you add?

• Love for streaming: genuine excitement about building great video experiences.
• Leadership experience: 2+ years leading engineering teams (tech lead, team lead, or manager) with mentorship and hands-on coding.
• Technical proficiency: proficient in C# and JavaScript (or quick to learn and contribute).
• Domain expertise: background in video streaming, CDN, storage, or DNS is a strong plus.
• Customer focus: you listen, care, and build with the end user in mind.
• Data-driven mindset: use metrics to guide decisions, not just intuition.
• Organizational skills: manage multiple projects and focus on what matters.
• Strategic perspective: connect technical work to broader business goals and long-term impact.
• Adaptability & collaboration: thrive in a fast-moving environment and help others do the same.
