Overview

Lead Engineer at Skanska – Skanska Building Services is a leader in facilities management, trusted by top-tier clients across critical sectors. We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to supervise maintenance and fault analysis of mechanical building operations.

What you'll do

• Review health and status of critical building systems and report on site resilience
• Issue and manage planned and reactive maintenance tasks in line with contract requirements
• Complete planned and reactive maintenance tasks in line with contract requirements
• Handle additional requests and project tasks
• Deliver cost savings through identification and implementation of process efficiencies
• Sub-contractor management including review of works delivered
• Manage health and safety for the team and processes as per Skanska requirements
• Attend site in a timely manner as a participant in the site call-out rota

Qualifications

• Minimum of Mechanical/Electrical City & Guilds level 2, NVQ level 3
• Experience working in an FM/building services environment
• Experience of BMS and critical building systems
• IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH
• Experience of managing/leading engineers and subcontractors
