We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Site Lead to join our team based in Wakefield. About the Role: As the Site Lead, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the site maintenance team, ensuring the smooth operation of Mechanical, Electrical, and Fabric services. You’ll play a key role in maintaining compliance with statutory and mandatory standards, driving performance, and delivering exceptional service to our client. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of M&E plant and equipment. Manage the CAFM system to monitor performance and service delivery. Ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental standards. Supervise specialist contractors and manage minor works. Conduct risk assessments, method statements, and work package plans. Respond to reactive maintenance and ensure timely completion of PPM tasks. Support innovation and continuous improvement across the contract. What We’re Looking For: Skills & Experience: Strong supervisory experience with the ability to motivate and manage a team. Proficient in CAFM systems and E-Log Book management. Experience in compiling risk assessments and quotations. Excellent communication and client-facing skills. Knowledge of M&E services, BMS systems, and statutory compliance. Desirable: City & Guilds or equivalent in an electrical discipline. IOSH Managing Safely certification. Experience with fire alarm systems, generators, HVAC, and water treatment. Success Measures: Achievement of contract KPIs and SLAs. High team performance and service standards. Statutory compliance and effective management of subcontractors. Timely and efficient completion of maintenance tasks.
