Lead Automation Installation Engineer required to join a global engineering service provider specialising in automated and intelligent software solutions. Duties will include: -Leading a team to Install, Commission, and support Automated Systems including Conveyors, Robotic Cells, and Crane Systems. -Mechanical and Electrical Fault Finding, System Integration, and ensuring Installations meet safety and performance standards. -Provide on-site and remote support for installed systems. -Conduct routine maintenance and emergency repairs. Working on various sites all over the UK. Must be willing to travel and work away from home. Must have experience working with: -Robotic Programming and Integration. -Knowledge of Crane Systems and Lifting Equipment Regulations. -Proven experience in automation installation (Conveyors, Robotics, Cranes) -Strong Electrical and Mechanical Fault Finding skills -Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams -Experience with PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Allen Bradley) The ideal candidate must have the following: -NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering -Valid CSCS card or equivalent -Full UK driving licence -Certification in Electrical safety (e.g. 18th Edition) -IPAF, PASMA, or similar site access qualifications Salary is up to £45,000 for the ideal candidate...
