Job title: Lead Mechanical Engineer – Hydraulic Systems Location: Weymouth, Filton, Frimley – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role Salary: Circa £55,000 This is a critical role in the delivery of the product to the customer and will allow you to liaise with high level stakeholders and develop a lasting career with BAE Systems. Responsibilities

Review combat designs and provide Mechanical design feedback (Structural, Thermal & Hydraulic) in the Naval/Marine domain Take ownership of specific Mechanical design issues and manage Integrated Combat Systems Liaise with internal and external stakeholders while managing updates and design inputs Produce CS Mechanical design interface information Perform Engineering calculations and generate associated test specifications and procedures Produce Engineering Drawings in FORAN/CADS5/Viso to BS 8888 Qualifications

Essential:

Hydraulic / Pneumatic Systems Engineering experience Degree or HND qualification with relevant experience Chartered or working towards Chartership Desirable
