Job Title: Lead Shift Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £53,000 per annum + plenty of overtime

About the Role:

Are you an experienced and highly skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking for the next step in your career? We have an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated individual to take on a lead role at a prestigious, high-end commercial site in the heart of Central London.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee all mechanical maintenance activities on-site, including HVAC, plumbing, heating, and ventilation systems.

Diagnose and rectify complex mechanical faults in a timely and efficient manner.

Develop and implement a robust Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule.

Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with current health and safety regulations.

Supervise and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and specialist sub-contractors.

Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work, asset history, and compliance documentation.

Liaise with the building management team to ensure a seamless and high-quality service delivery.

What We're Looking For:

A time-served mechanical engineer with a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering).

Proven experience working in a similar role within a corporate or high-end commercial environment.
