Senior Mechanical Engineer Base plus benefits Water / Chemical Manufacturing / Process Plant / Glass / Paper

Hybrid

Covering all aspects of mechanical scope (machinery, vessels, packages), including preparation of technical specifications, review of quotations, review of vendor drawings and preparation of design schemes.

Ensure that all mechanical engineering works are undertaken in accordance with the conditions and requirements of the Contract.

Attend co-ordination, progress and programme / resource meetings as required.

Control costs against budget and forecast.

Required Experience:

Significant engineering and contracting experience in major and minor project environments.

Highly motivated and confident in working at a detailed level.

Flexible and self-driven, working effectively within a team or alone.

Qualified to Engineering Degree Level

Working towards or have Chartered Membership of a recognised institution.

Desirable:

Experience in Process Plant

Extensive requisition experience for mechanical equipment and packaged plant

Candidates must live in the North of England, eligible to work in the UK
