Overview
Job Title: Lead Shift Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Central London
Salary: £53,000 per annum + plenty of overtime
Job Type: Continental shift days and nights
Site: High-End Commercial Property (Static)
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all mechanical maintenance activities on-site, including HVAC, plumbing, heating, and ventilation systems.
- Diagnose and rectify complex mechanical faults in a timely and efficient manner.
- Develop and implement a robust Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with current health and safety regulations.
- Supervise and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and specialist sub-contractors.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work, asset history, and compliance documentation.
- Liaise with the building management team to ensure a seamless and high-quality service delivery.
What We're Looking For
- A time-served mechanical engineer with a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering).
- Proven experience working in a similar role within a corporate or high-end commercial environment.
