OverviewLead Mechanical or HVAC EngineerLocation: Healthcare estate environmentContract: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours per week)Salary & Benefits: Competitive + excellent packageThe Role: We're looking for a skilled Lead Mechanical/HVAC Engineer to take ownership of maintenance, repair, and inspection of mechanical building services. As a Lead Mechanical or HVAC Engineer you'll play a key role in keeping critical healthcare facilities running smoothly, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and delivering a reliable, customer-focused service.ResponsibilitiesDeliver planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical systems.Diagnose and repair faults on equipment quickly and safely.Support installations, upgrades, and adaptations.Work on steam boilers, water systems, and heating plant.Liaise with wards/departments to minimise disruption.Join the call-out rota (after qualifying period).Maintain accurate records and paperwork.Work flexibly with other trades and support the wider estates team.QualificationsNVQ Level 3 in Maintenance Services (or equivalent).Strong background in mechanical maintenance/HVAC within building services.Hands-on experience with AHUs, FCUs, LTHW, pumps, pipework, valves, chilled & potable water systems/air conditioning units.Knowledge of water hygiene systems.Plumbing skills essential; steam systems and pipefitting experience desirable.Authorised Person (Mechanical Systems) certification is a bonus.BenefitsCompetitive salary + annual leave that increases with service.Pension and life cover.Discounts with major retailers + cycle to work scheme.Gym membership savings.Access to professional training & development.Employee wellbeing support, including 24/7 assistance.Inclusive networks and a supportive workplace culture.Call Jacob from HVAC for more info #J-18808-Ljbffr
