OverviewJackson Hogg is recruiting for a Lead Piping Engineer to join a leading EPC engineering business in Cramlington to work on Onshore oil & gas and renewable energy projects. The Lead Piping Engineer will be responsible for leading a team of engineers on complex piping projects and provide technical expertise internally and with clients. This role is full time and permanent.ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise a team of engineers and designers, ensuring efficient resource allocation and high-quality outputs.Deliver technical consultancy on piping-related issues to clients.Oversee preparation, checking, and approval of design and engineering documentation.Implement and maintain best practices in people management, systems, and processes.Support business development activities by providing technical expertise.Essential requirementsDegree qualified (Desirable) or HNC level qualification with additional experience.Extensive experience in piping engineering within the onshore oil & gas/renewable energy sectors.Proven track record of leading multi-discipline projects.Desirable requirementsDegree level qualification in Engineering.Chartered Engineer status.Experience in developing and mentoring engineering teams.BenefitsPension 5% and 3%Healthcare (personal & discounted for family members)25 days annual leave + bank holidaysLong service award; one day's extra leave for every 5 years' service, up to 5 days.Life assurance at 3 times salaryWorking Hours40 hours per week, 8:30-5 Monday to Thursday, Friday 8:30 - 13:30, early finish on a Friday. 5 days in the office with a flexible working policy.If this is a role you're interested in this Lead Piping Engineer role, please apply here or get in touch with Eleanor Buckley at Jackson Hogg #J-18808-Ljbffr
