We are seeking an experienced Lead Pre-Commissioning Engineer to support major infrastructure projects in the London region. This role involves managing pre-commissioning and commissioning activities across complex mechanical, electrical, and process systems.
Responsibilities:
Oversee pre-commissioning and commissioning of electrical, mechanical, and process systems
Coordinate documentation, testing schedules, and verification procedures
Supervise site teams, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance at all stages
Resolve technical challenges in collaboration with design and project management teams
Contribute to assurance records and handover documentation for completed works
Requirements:
Proven experience in commissioning and pre-commissioning within utilities, process, or infrastructure projects
Ability to lead site teams and manage multiple stakeholders
Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, pumps, or process equipment
Relevant engineering qualifications (HNC, HND, Degree, or equivalent)
Strong organisational and communication skills
