Technical Staffing Resources (TSR) are the in-house agency and master vendor for KBR who are a leading global engineering, construction, and services company.

KBR support the hydrocarbon and government services markets on six continents. Serving their customers through diverse business units, KBR offer challenging assignments on some of the world's largest and most complex projects.

We are looking to recruit a Lead / Principal Electrical Engineer for a 12-month + contract, based in Leatherhead, Surrey.

Purpose of the Role
We are seeking lead / principal engineers for energy transition and energy security projects to develop the electrical power system designs required to support the process design. 

Core Responsibilities / Experience

  • Demonstratable experience of designing large industrial power systems is a pre-requisite for the roles.
    • \n
  • Power system designs for H2 / NH3 / LNG / Refining projects
    • \n
  • Sizing and selection of high voltage equipment, Large Frequency convertors,  AC/ DC UPS systems etc.
    • \n
  • Development of philosophies and specifications
    • \n
  • Input to estimating.
    • \n
  • To complete power system studies / calculations using ETAP / review of studies by others.
    • \n
