You'll combine hands-on technical expertise with team leadership, working directly with cross-functional teams to ensure exceptional product quality and manufacturing efficiency in demanding, high-specification environments.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nQuality Systems & Process Development:\n\n * Design and implement quality control systems and inspection procedures for new and existing products\n\n * Develop APQP methodologies including FMEAs, control plans, and process capability studies\n\n * Create electronic quality management systems to streamline data capture and reporting\n\n * Lead root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for non-conformances\n\nProduct Development & Manufacturing Support:\n\n * Partner with engineering teams during new product introduction phases\n\n * Establish achievable process tolerances and quality specifications\n\n * Generate inspection programs, tooling requirements, and standard operating procedures\n\n * Support customer approval processes and documentation requirements\n\nTeam Leadership & Development:\n\n * Manage and mentor a team of quality engineers\n\n * Conduct performance reviews and foster professional development\n\n * Drive continuous improvement culture through data-driven decision making\n\n * Coordinate workload allocation and ensure project delivery timelines\n\nStakeholder Collaboration\n\n * Serve as primary liaison between quality, engineering, and production teams\n\n * Provide regular performance reporting to senior management\n\n * Support customer quality initiatives and supplier quality programs\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n\nEssential Requirements\n\n * Degree in Engineering or related technical field\n\n * Proven experience in quality engineering within manufacturing environments\n\n * Strong knowledge of APQP tools and quality management systems\n\n * Experience leading technical teams and driving process improvements within high-specification manufacturing environments\n\n * Understanding of demanding quality standards in motorsport, defence, or similar precision industries\n\n * Excellent communication skills with ability to present to all organizational levels\n\nTechnical Skills\n\n * Proficiency in CAD software, ERP systems, and quality management platforms\n\n * Understanding of statistical process control and data analysis\n\n * Experience with manufacturing process optimization\n\n * Knowledge of customer quality requirements and approval processes\n\nPersonal Attributes\n\n * Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities\n\n * Self-motivated with excellent project management skills\n\n * Adaptable and eager to learn new technologies\n\n * Commercial awareness and customer-focused approach\n\nInterested in this exciting opportunity?\n\nOur client offers competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and excellent opportunities for career advancement within the dynamic motorsport and defence sectors
