Overview

Lead Security Engineer (FTC) for a long-term FinTech client. 12-month fixed-term contract with a strong chance of long-term employment at the end. Fully remote within the UK.

Responsibilities

• Lead security initiatives and teams within complex, cloud-native environments.
• Support the build-out of the security department over the next 12 months.
• Contribute to a pipeline of projects focused on Endpoint Security, Social Engineering, Detection and Response, Perimeter Defence, and Identity Security.

Qualifications

• Strong background in information security with a proven track record of leading security initiatives and teams in complex, cloud-native environments.
• Deep understanding of security frameworks.
• Expertise in threat modeling, vulnerability management, penetration testing, and incident response.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and their native security services.
