Your new role As the Lead Shift Engineer, you will take a hands-on leadership role within the Engineering team, managing and mentoring a team of three Shift Engineers. Working on a 4-on-4-off rotating day and night shift pattern, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of engineering operations, supporting production, and driving plant efficiency.You'll coordinate daily maintenance activities, manage engineering schedules, and lead by example on the shop floor. Your role will also involve overseeing contractors, supporting project work, and ensuring compliance with health & safety and food safety standards. You'll act as the key link between engineering and production, attending daily meetings and deputising for the Engineering Manager when required.
