THE ROLE

We’re hiring a Founding Lead Engineer — our first in- house tech hire and future Head of Engineering. This is a hands-on role where you’ll design, build and ship Elect’s CRM and LMS platform from scratch.

From day one, you’ll be in the codebase — building workflows, integrations, and systems that directly impact how fast we fund deals. Over time, you’ll scale the platform, set the technical direction, and grow out a high-performing engineering team around you. This is a build-now, lead-later opportunity for someone who wants to own technology end-to-end and shape the infrastructure of a business that’s scaling fast.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and launch Elect’s CRM and LMS platform from scratch.
• Write clean, scalable code across backend and frontend.
• Build and maintain integrations with brokers, banking APIs, and internal tools.
• Translate business requirements (funding ops, brokers, repayments) into robust technical solutions.
• Establish engineering standards, testing, deployment, and security foundations.
• Partner with leadership to set the technical roadmap and delivery milestones.
• Hire, mentor, and manage engineers as the team expands.
• Balance speed with scalability — ship fast, but build for growth.
