A Little Bit More About Your Role
To continue to grow our Asset Management service line in the offshore wind space we are looking for a motivated and forward-thinking Senior/Lead Wind Asset Management Engineer. This is a unique opportunity to help shape and deliver asset management solutions across the full offshore wind lifecycle—from turbines and foundations to cables and substations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and apply risk-based inspection (RBI), condition monitoring, and life-extension approaches tailored to offshore wind assets.
- Participate in or lead inspection planning, integrity reviews, and maintenance optimization studies.
- Work with digital teams to integrate asset data into CMMS, dashboards, and reporting tools.
- Oversee the lifecycle performance of offshore wind assets, from commissioning through to decommissioning.
- Lead diagnostics, root cause analyses, and performance assessments using SCADA, CMS, and digital analytics platforms.
- Support commercial assessments for life extension & repowering
- Contribute to proposals, client engagements, and cross-discipline delivery teams.
- Represent the company in technical discussions with clients, OEMs, and external stakeholders.
- Grow a market position in Asset Governance and Strategic strategies for key Clients.
What We Will Be Looking For You To Demonstrate
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials or Renewable Engineering or related discipline
- Experience in offshore wind or energy infrastructure asset management.
- Understanding SCADA systems, CMMS tools, and performance analytics software.
- Good understanding of offshore wind turbine technology, electrical infrastructure, and marine operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think holistically across systems.
- Comfortable engaging with clients, project teams, and external stakeholders.
Desirable (but Not Essential)
- Experience with offshore foundations, WTG components, cables, or substations.
- Understanding of standards (e.g. ISO 55000, DNV, IEC).
- Experience with condition monitoring, CMMS/EAM systems, or inspection planning tools.
- Chartership or working toward chartered status (e.g. CEng, IEng) is a plus.
