LEAD PRINCIPAL ELECTRICAL ENGINEER - CONTRACT – SURREY

Our Client is seeking a Lead Principal Electrical Engineer for energy transition and security projects for an initial 12 month contract role that has an immediate start.

REQUIREMENTS

The following experience would be advantageous:

• Power system designs for H2 / NH3 / LNG / Refining projects
• Sizing and selection of high voltage equipment, Large Frequency convertors, AC/ DC UPS systems etc.
• Development of philosophies and specifications
• Input to estimating.
• Ability to complete power system studies / calculations using ETAP / review of studies by others.
• Demonstratable experience of designing large industrial power systems is a pre-requisite for the roles.

JOB SCOPE: You will be working on various transition and energy security projects to develop the electrical power system designs required to support the process design.

Responsibilities:

• Power system designs for H2 / NH3 / LNG / Refining projects

DURATION: 12 months initially

LOCATION: The role will be based on 5 days a week in our Client’s Offices in Leatherhead. Hybrid working may be possible with two days remote.

RATE: £62.00 per hour Ltd co rate

If the role is Likely to be outside of IR35 the final decision will only be made after a QDOS assessment.
