Overview
Role: The Station Manager is a certifying engineer outside the standard roster. Responsible for safe, efficient station operations, regulatory compliance, team management, and reporting to the Operational Maintenance Manager.
Location: Greenford, England, United Kingdom (and other sites as required).
Salary & Benefits
Salary: £87,550 basic, up to £6,000 approval pay, and £2,000 on-call payment
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday – Thursday 08:30 – 17:00, Friday 08:30 – 14:30

About the Client
Our client is a leading international line maintenance provider offering 24/7 support for commercial aircraft operators across Europe, Asia, and Africa. An independent MRO with over 20 years’ experience, they deliver high-quality, flexible maintenance and AOG services.
Responsibilities
- Team Management: Lead, motivate, and develop a technically efficient station team; foster a proactive, professional working culture; maintain strong working relationships across stations and departments.
- Regulatory & Budget Oversight: Ensure compliance with Station, EASA, and CAA regulations; manage station costs, revenue, and overtime claims; respond to non-conformities promptly.
- Line Maintenance & Operations: Supervise, plan, and accept work for the customer fleet; maintain staffing levels, KPIs, and third-party supplier oversight; ensure staff competence, SMS, and Health & Safety awareness; support investigations, audits, and safety reports.
- Communication: Report defects and incidents promptly; address complaints and audit findings; hold regular meetings with supervisors and management.
- Stores & Support: Ensure efficient, compliant line stores operations; support team outside office hours and make timely operational decisions.
Education & Qualifications
- O level or GCSE A-C standard grades
- Part-66 Licence (A320 Fam)
- Engineering background with customer-based aircraft experience
- Right to work in the UK
Skills & Experience
- Leadership and confident communication
- KPI and budget management
- Regulatory compliance knowledge (EASA & CAA)
- Line maintenance and AOG operations experience
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SGHA
Working Conditions
Office and workshop-based duties at the line station.
Additional Requirements
Flexibility for additional hours or travel to other stations.
