We are looking for a qualified and experienced Lift Engineer to carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of lift systems across commercial, residential, and industrial sites. Youll ensure lifts operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant regulationsdelivering high-quality service with minimal disruption. This role suits someone with strong technical skills, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, commission, and modernise lift systems (passenger, goods, platform lifts) Perform routine servicing, fault diagnosis, and emergency repairs Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with LOLER and PUWER regulations Respond to breakdowns and participate in out-of-hours call-out rota Maintain accurate service records and complete job sheets Liaise with clients, site managers, and other trades to coordinate works Adhere to health and safety protocols and company procedures

Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent qualification Proven experience in lift installation, maintenance, or repair Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems Familiarity with industry standards and safety legislation Ability to read technical drawings and schematics Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to multiple sites Excellent problem-solving skills and customer service attitude
