Our TIC team manages the testing, inspection, and certification of lifting and working at height equipment across the UK. The role involves site-based inspection, testing, repair, maintenance, and reporting on lifting equipment, including proof load testing and basic installations. Occasionally, the role includes site surveys and advising customers on lifting equipment selection and use. The team also supports the lifting depot network by maintaining the hire fleet and providing bespoke lifting solutions.While the ideal candidate will ideally reside in the North of Scotland, we are flexible regarding location and will consider applicants from outside this area.About YouSuccessful applicants should demonstrate:Experience as a Lifting Engineer/FitterCompetency in inspecting lifting equipment per LOLER / PUWER standardsLEEA Qualifications are highly desirable, including advanced programmes such as Runways & Crane Structures and Overhead Travelling CranesAbility to work independently and support team membersA customer-focused approach and strong attention to detailValid driving licenceAbout UsGAP Hire Solutions has grown from one division to ten, offering equipment hire across the UK.
