Linux Engineer - Manchester 6 Months Outside IR35

£400 a day

DXP Talent is hiring for a seasoned Linux Engineer to support our client as they look to make changes to their existing Linux Platform to improve Security. The Linux Engineer will have a strong Infrastructure background working within RedHat and VMware environments alongside having strong Automation and Security skills to mitigate against vulnerabilities. Working with internal teams, you'll be instrumental in up-skilling Engineers on the Linux Platforms and working with them to create strategies around patch management and keeping Servers secure.

The role will be based on onsite for the first week or 2 to get familiar with systems and the Team and will then reduce to once a week. If you're not local, it's down to you to sort travel arrangements/accommodation if required.

Key experience/skills:

- Linux SME Skills - RedHat - VMware - Patching/Vulnerability management - Automation (Ansible, Jenkins, Git)
