Logistics Automation Engineer

What you’ll do… As a Logistics Automation Engineer, you’ll be supporting the creation of our global logistics strategy and responsible for specifying, designing and implementing a best-in-class automated logistics operation utilising vast fleets of Automated Guided Vehicles and numerous Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems. This is a hybrid role with an office base in Coventry and some business travel within the UK and abroad.

Reporting into the Logistics Engineering Manager, you will: All elements of each ASRS solutions across our UK plant including equipment specification, RFQ evaluation and nomination, detailed design, installation, commissioning and all acceptance testing. Project manage logistics automation suppliers to manage change and ensure the timely delivery of solutions in line with business requirements. Interface with key stakeholders to ensure building and site services readiness. Support the creation of our logistics strategy to support future project phases.
