Overview

Pure Clean Waste Solutions are looking to recruit an Engineer/Mechanic to work on small plant and machinery. Based in Bredbury, working in a workshop, capable of servicing a wide variety of machinery. Must have a variety of skills and a good work ethic; the ability to do the job is more important than qualifications.

You’ll need to possess a great attitude, a pleasant customer manner, hardworking ethic combined with a broad range of skills. Electrical knowledge would be helpful but is not as essential as experience and the ability to demonstrate initiative.

At least 3 years experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the health and safety of all site operatives, including yourself. Adhering to company safety policy and procedures and the Health and safety at Work Act
  • Must enjoy working outdoors and in all weathers
  • Be physically fit
  • Self-motivated
  • Able to work well as part of a team and on your own
  • Have practical experience in the use of tools, equipment and machinery
  • Good communication skills
  • Professional and polite with excellent customer service skills
  • You must be able to work to a high standard, with a keen eye for detail, demonstrating care and thought in the tasks performed. Conscientious and good time-keeper

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Electrical knowledge would be helpful but is not essential compared with experience and initiative

  • Starting Salary: £15.00 per hour
