Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers to understand their workflows and design and build Virtual Agents that automate their processes.
  • Contribute to the development of the Virtual Agent development platform that scales with our product strategy.
  • Ensure AI services maintain reliability, observability, availability, and performance.
  • Participate in the machine learning community to influence how we implement machine learning and computer vision technologies.
  • Take ownership of customer outcomes with autonomy to deliver value and delight customers.
  • Contribute to full-stack delivery including software engineering, DevOps, and MLOps, with light project management to maximize impact of AI solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong Python and Machine Learning Engineering skills, with experience applying AI to solve customer problems.
  • Ability to develop agentic AI systems that automate human processes or willingness to learn.
  • Understanding of software deployment via Kubernetes and the ability to deploy some infrastructure elements independently.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and project management skills to analyze workflows and design automated solutions.
  • Thrives in a collaborative environment with emphasis on team outcomes.
  • Willingness to travel to company-wide offsites three times per year.

Nice to have

  • Experience in fully remote, international teams.
  • Previous startup experience.
  • Background in building and operating agentic AI systems.
  • MLOps practices and monitoring ML systems in production.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Argo CD).
  • Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform).
  • Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and staying current with AI advancements.
