Join Our Team as a Machine Learning Engineer at Hawk-Eye Innovations. If you’re passionate about defining the future of sports analytics, this could be the ideal role for you.

Responsibilities

• As a Machine Learning Engineer, work at the heart of the development lifecycle and collaborate with PMs, data stakeholders, and engineers across Data and Machine Learning teams.
• Integrate cutting-edge ML features into HawkAI analysis products and run ML models on live streams of tracking data.
• Design algorithms to turn ML outputs into actionable insights and develop/deploy ML models with a focus on real-time performance.
• Build cloud and containerised systems for deployment at scale; develop CI/CD and production pipelines to maintain robust software practices.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers; work with data teams to collect, store, and curate training data.
• Streamline ML operations and performance pipelines; lead R&D initiatives and keep the team up to date with industry trends.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead technical discussions; own solutions end-to-end from design through to production.

This role requires both depth and breadth and expects you to ship clean, well-structured code and contribute to architectural decisions. You will be involved in integrating deep learning models into HawkAI Analysis Products and evaluating how to apply them effectively.

Required:

• Strong Python programming fundamentals
• PyTorch
• Docker and containerised deployments
• Linux & Windows 10 development experience
• GIT, GitHub and collaborative software development

Nice-to-Haves:

• AWS (S3, SageMaker, Lambdas)
• MLOps, CI/CD processes
• PyTorch-Ignite
• TypeScript & Semantic UI React
• SSH and secure deployment workflows

Bonus Skills:

• JIRA & Confluence
• ClearML
