Field Service Engineer – CNC Machine Tools\n\nLocation: Yorkshire\n\nSalary: £45,000 – £50,000 + company vehicle\n\nEmployment: Permanent, Full-time\n\nAn established CNC machine tool distributor is growing its UK service team and is looking to appoint an experienced Field Service Engineer to support its customer base across Yorkshire.\n\nThis is a field-based position, ideal for someone with strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills, who is comfortable working independently and providing a high standard of service on a range of CNC machines.\n\nThe Role:\n\nCarrying out planned maintenance and servicing of CNC machine tools in line with company standards\n\nDiagnosing faults and completing repairs on site at customer premises\n\nBuilding and maintaining strong customer relationships across a range of manufacturing sectors\n\nProviding technical support to customers and internal staff as required\n\nKeeping up to date with machine developments and attending training when new control systems are introduced\n\nWhat We're Looking For:\n\nBased in Yorkshire, with the flexibility to travel throughout the region\n\nMinimum 3 years’ experience in a maintenance or service role (post-apprenticeship)\n\nEngineering HNC and Modern Apprenticeship (or equivalent experience)\n\nMechanical and electrical fitting skills\n\nFamiliarity with one or more of the following CNC control systems: Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain\n\nGood communication skills (written and verbal)\n\nCompetent using PC, mobile and email systems\n\nThe Package:\n\nSalary between £40,000 – £50,000 depending on experience\n\nCompany vehicle provided\n\n25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays\n\nLife assurance\n\nHealthcare scheme\n\nAccess to retail and gym discounts\n\nOngoing technical training and support\n\nIf you’re an experienced CNC service engineer looking for your next challenge with a respected and forward-thinking company, we’d like to hear from you.\n\nBy applying for this position, you consent to Recruit Engineering processing and storing your personal data, including your CV, contact details, and any other relevant information, for the purpose of providing work-finding services.
