Machine Tool Service Engineer £40k + Overtime Permanent Monday - Friday Stockport based, NW travel I am currently looking for Service Engineers for a leading machine tool service provider based in the Northwest of England. Working on a variety of machines, you will be tasked in the repair, upgrade, installation and service of a full range of engineering-based machinery both mechanically and electrically Based in Stockport, work is based within our workshop along with mainly North West based engineering companies, with some national based companies. In general, we have engineers working away from home a couple of nights per month with return home on a Friday. Your key responsibilities will involve you to: - Identify & amend machine tool faults. Have a good understanding & working knowledge of machine tool control systems Be responsible for servicing, maintaining, commissioning, installing and providing technical support for a wide range of Machine Tool products Ability to read and follow ladder / wiring diagrams Good understanding of machine tool PPM / TPM procedures.
Ideally qualified to HND / HNC or equivalent in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or having served an Apprenticeship. You must have relevant experience of fault finding, commissioning and maintenance of a range of Machine Tools.
