Maintenance Electrical Engineer

We have an opportunity in our Maintenance team with the key objective to support the efficient operation of our production facilities.This includes conducting regular safety inspections, performing both preventative and reactive maintenance on CNC machinery, and maintaining all site electrical systems. The role is also responsible for identifying and implementing improvements to increase efficiency, reduce downtime, and managing external contractors and maintenance resources.Responsibilities:Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with safe working practices, and maintaining safety systems like fire alarms.Install, test, and maintain site electrical systems, conduct EICRs, and troubleshoot faults.Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on CNC machinery, including diagnostics and repair of control systems (Fanuc, Siemens, Hurco), and oversee calibrations.Identify continuous improvement opportunities, manage external contractors, and track maintenance inventory and expenses.Skills:Installation, testing, and maintenance of site electrical systems, including EV chargers.Performing Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs).Preventative and reactive maintenance on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machinery.Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults within machinery and control systems.Overseeing machine calibrations and alignments.Experience with PLC control systems, specifically Fanuc, Siemens, and Hurco.Hours of Work:Monday – Thursday 7:00 am to 4:00 pmFriday 7:00 am to 12:00 pm39 hours per weekIn addition to a competitive salary, we offer an attractive benefits package, including:Discounts with local shops and servicesDiscounts at major retailers like Argos, Currys, Halfords, Tesco, Sainsbury's, and MorrisonsFree on-site parkingCareer progression opportunitiesContinued professional learning and developmentRecommend a friend schemeDeath in service benefit after qualifying periodMental health supportFinancial wellness supportLong service awardsSeasonal events organized by HepcoMotion’s social committeeOvertime opportunities at a premium rateHow To Apply:To register your interest, please email your current CV to: #J-18808-Ljbffr
