Maintenance Engineer London manufacturing sector (new factory) (hands on role fixing machinery, must have experience)

Location North London (Enfield area)

Maintenance Engineer is aVERY LONG TERM CONTRACT with potential to lead to a permanent role

Fully automated site with ongoing investment and new kit being installed

12 hour days and nights shift

Commutable from Enfield, Epping, Romford, Brentwood, Hoddesdon, Brimsdown, Edmonton, Walthamstow, Stevenage, Borehamwood, Elstree, Barnet, Southgate, Tottenham, Waltham Abbey, Waltham Cross and other parts of London, Hertfordshire and Essex

Responsibilities

• Reactive and planned maintenance of production machinery
• Electrical or mechanical fault finding and repair (depending on skill set)
• Minimise Equipment Downtime
• Support on breakdowns
• Assist with continuous improvement

Requirements

• A formal engineering qualification to at least City & Guilds level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent with corresponding practical experience
• Good working knowledge of automated systems/ production machinery
• From a manufacturing background
• Mechanical and Electrical proven experience

Details

• Salary: £40-42ph umbrella with overtime; current Maintenance Engineer can work 60-70 hours if they wish
• Location: North London (Enfield area)
• Shift pattern: 12 hour days and nights
• Contract: Very long term contract (potential to lead to permanent role)
• Site: Fully automated, with ongoing investment and new kit being installed
• Industry: World class manufacturer with high standards and strong teamwork
