Maintenance Engineer - Day shift

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Engineer to join our team in a fast-paced production environment. Monday to Friday 8am-6pm This is a hands-on role requiring strong electrical and mechanical expertise to support both preventative and reactive maintenance of production equipment. Key Responsibilities: Carry out preventative maintenance in line with the planned maintenance schedule Respond promptly to breakdowns, diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults Perform advanced troubleshooting on complex electronic and mechanical systems Communicate effectively with external suppliers and service providers Source and control spare parts inventory, ensuring critical components are available when needed Prioritise and manage workload efficiently to minimise equipment downtime Support general maintenance tasks across the site as needed Skills and Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years experience in equipment maintenance within a high-speed or manufacturing environment Strong background in electronics with at least 3 years experience in both mechanical and electrical systems 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations certification (desirable) Proficient in diagnosing faults in mechanical and electrical systems Familiarity with stock control systems and spare parts management Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook Strong communication and organisational skills Ability to work independently and bring tasks to successful completion Great opportunity to join a great company, competitive salary and benefits package Quality Personnel
