Maintenance Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical)

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Engineer to join our client in a fast-paced production environment.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong electrical and mechanical expertise to support both preventative and reactive maintenance of production equipment.
Working hours: Dayshift 6am-6pm 3 on 4 off.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out preventative maintenance in line with the planned maintenance schedule
* Respond promptly to breakdowns, diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
* Perform advanced troubleshooting on complex electronic and mechanical systems
* Communicate effectively with external suppliers and service providers
* Source and control spare parts inventory, ensuring critical components are available when needed
* Prioritise and manage workload efficiently to minimise equipment downtime
* Support general maintenance tasks across the site as needed
Skills and Experience Required:
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in equipment maintenance within a high-speed or manufacturing environment
* Strong background in electronics with at least 3 years’ experience in both mechanical and electrical systems
* 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations certification (desirable)
* Proficient in diagnosing faults in mechanical and electrical systems
* Familiarity with stock control systems and spare parts management
