Maintenance Engineer (Electrically Biased)

I'm currently working with a market leading, FMCG manufacturer in Blackburn that's experiencing sustained growth and investing heavily in its people and processes. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrically Biased) to become part of a collaborative and ambitious engineering team.
?? Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off - rotating days and nights (12-hour shifts: 6am-6pm / 6pm-6am)
? Bonus: No Saturday night shifts + shorter Saturday day shifts (8 hours) = more weekend time off!
What You'll Be Doing
Minimise machinery downtime and ensure preventative maintenance is carried out effectively.
Work closely with Production and Engineering leadership to maintain operational efficiency.
Perform PPMs and reactive maintenance across a range of food processing equipment.
Record and analyse faults to support continuous improvement.
Support parts supply and inventory management.
Champion health & safety and building maintenance initiatives.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.
What We're Looking For
Strong electrical and mechanical engineering skills, ideally within a food/FMCG environment.
Experience with PLC fault finding and CMMS systems.
Engineering qualifications (e.g. BTEC ONC, HNC, HND in Electrical Engineering)....
