Purpose and objectives of the role Planned preventative maintenance, fault finding and repair of manufacturing machinery etc. Key role in contributing to the improvement of Health and Safety within each division and Maintenance Department.
Main duties and responsibilities Day to day running of the maintenance department. Manage the safe and efficient running of the manufacturing process. Execute maintenance procedures and prioritise all work in line with programme needs and production availability. Complete regular checks and testing on all plant to ensure they are operating within specification and recorded appropriately. Root cause analysis and resolution of any manufacturing losses related to planned maintenance and supply of machinery components. Ensuring critical spares are maintained and that repairs are conducted promptly and efficiently. Liaise and support on site contractors as and when required. Will work a two shift pattern consisting of an early and a back shift.
