MC Technical Recruitment are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Team Leader to join an Energy from Waste power station in Staffordshire. This plant processes around 340,000 tonnes of waste generating around 23MW of power for the national grid – enough to power over 55,000 homes. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the execution of all mechanical and electrical engineering activities across the site.
Roles and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, responsibilities will include:
Scheduling work orders in the CMMS for the maintenance team
Outage planning and execution working alongside the EC&I Engineer and Maintenance Manager
Supporting the Maintenance Manager with technical information to assist budget planning
Support and advise the technical administrator to ensure equipment is serviced and maintained in accordance with the statutory regulations– e.g. PSSR, LOLER, PUWER
Working with the Maintenance Manager in the planning and execution of planned and unplanned shutdowns
Providing support to maintenance teams and site contractors with scheduling and planning
Deputise for the Maintenance Manager during periods of absence
This role is a days based role Monday to Friday
