Overview

Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical Bias at GPSkal Assessoria e Projetos. Location: London, EC3A 5AY. Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. 07:00 – 16:00 / 10:00 – 19:00.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned preventative maintenance on site, along with additional works, reactive fault finding, repairs, installations and support event set ups.
• Support and participate in an on-call rota within the site-based team. Occasional overtime may be requested.
• As a multi-skilled engineer, focus on mechanical works with flexibility to undertake basic electrical tasks within the contract scope.
• Maintain, repair and install assets around the site, including equipment, building works or site infrastructure.
• Work within a team and contribute at both individual and team levels to provide high-quality services and compliance to the client and customers.
• Develop professional relationships with the client, customers and colleagues on a professional level.

Qualifications & Skills

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or similar recognised qualification.
• Knowledge of Building Services BMS and Fire Alarm systems (preferable).
• Maintenance and cleaning of FCUs; Water Testing (L8); Fire Alarm testing and general fabric/handyperson tasks.
• Experience with PPMS from a CAFM system; experience working with and managing specialist sub-contractors.

Additional Information

Able to work at a commercial, high-end flagship client site. Full training on specialist items will be provided on start. Prior experience in a similar front-of-house environment is desirable.
