Permanent. Competitive salary per annum + excellent benefits.We’re looking for a Plumbing/ Mechanical Engineer to join our Estates team based at The Princess Grace Hospital. This role is vital in ensuring a first class building maintenance service within the hospital and satellite sites, covering reactive, project and scheduled maintenance work.What You’ll DoTo carry out plumbing duties and Mechanical plant PPMS e.g. AHUs, Split Units, Fan Coils, Compressors.Support with cross discipline PPMs as required water safety PPMs, Patient room PPMsTo work on planned preventive maintenance schedules, in line with departmental goals and objectives.To respond to emergency maintenance and reactive maintenance as requestedTo prioritise work requests and carry them out efficientlyTo supervise external contractors as directed by the Chief EngineerTo carry out all work in adherence to Health and Safety and COSHH policies and guidelines.To document all work accuratelyTo assist in projects as requiredWhat You’ll BringQualified in relevant discipline e.g. City & Guilds or NVQ plumbing/ mechanical, or an engineering building services qualificationPrevious experience within a Hospital or similar organisationHealth and Safety, COSHHGeneral knowledge of Fire regulationsExcellent customer care and communication skillsMust have a flexible approach to workGood verbal and non-verbal communication skillsWhy HCA UK?Originally founded over 50 years ago by Dr Thomas Frist, HCA has gone on to become one of the world’s leading healthcare providers.
