About the Role

Were recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to support a leading pharmaceutical site in Oxford. This is a temporary role where youll be the go-to person for day-to-day maintenance tasks, contractor supervision, and first-line fixes, helping to keep a critical facility running smoothly.


Key Responsibilities

  • Escorting and supervising contractors while on site.

  • Attending breakdowns and carrying out first-line maintenance.

  • Performing general plumbing works (e.g., leaks, blockages, tap replacements).

  • Completing small electrical tasks (e.g., lamp changes, socket swaps).

  • Managing and issuing permits to work.

  • Escalating more technical or specialist issues (e.g., AC, complex systems) to the appropriate engineers.


What Were Looking For

  • Experience in maintenance, building services, or a similar role.

  • Basic skills in plumbing and small electrical works.

  • Awareness of safe systems of work and permit procedures.

  • A proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills.

  • Professionalism to work in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
