Maintenance Engineer Our client a leading FMCG company who have been going from strength to strength over the past few years and have invested heavily in their staff and facilities and as such are now seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join their team. This is an exciting role with a leading employer where the successful candidate will lead a team of multi-skilled engineers. Job Duties: Managing a team of engineers ensuring that safety safety standards are maintained and that all works are carried out in a safe manner. Ensure that there are risk assessments and method statements in place before undertaking works. Manage maintenance strategies, procedures and methods for all works carried out. Managing engineering budgets and procurement of spares and equipment in cost-effective manner. Working closely with production and senior leadership to support operational performance. Guiding the team with regards new machinery being used or any adjustments to existing machinery which may influence product integrity Responsible for ensuring all external contracted preventative maintenance work is carried out Driving continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis of equipment downtime.
