Major Recruitment is working on behalf of a leading food manufacturing business in Evesham to find an experienced Maintenance Engineer. - Starting at £51,380 with the potential to increase to £56,500. \n
- Shift Pattern: \n
- 6am - 6pm \n
- Days - 4 on 4 off\n \n

What You'll Do:
\nAs a Maintenance Engineer, you will ensure production lines run reliably and efficiently by delivering high-quality engineering support. Your key responsibilities will include:
\n- \n
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults safely and effectively. \n
- Performing breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance to a high standard. \n
- Carrying out root cause analysis to identify and resolve recurring issues. \n
- Recording breakdowns, repairs, and improvement actions clearly. \n
- Working closely with production, hygiene, and technical teams to minimise downtime and optimise equipment performance. \n
- Ensuring all engineering work supports safe, hygienic food production. \n
- Conducting electrical machinery audits and ensuring equipment poses no electrical risks. \n
- Following health & safety standards, including lock-off/tag-off procedures and correct PPE use. \n
- Actively contributing to risk assessments and promoting a safe working environment. \n
- Communicating effectively with colleagues, equipment suppliers, and other departments. \n
- Completing project work and maintaining accurate, up-to-date records and paperwork. \n
What We're Looking For:
\nWe're keen to hear from candidates with:

- Proven experience as a Multiskilled Engineer within food manufacturing. \n
- Strong skills in mechanical and electrical fault finding, repairs, and preventative maintenance. \n
- Relevant engineering qualifications. \n
- A methodical, organised approach and a passion for getting into the detail of machinery operation. \n
- A commitment to high standards of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety. \n
- Great teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. \n
