Maintenance Engineer Location: Antrim Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 per annum + shift premium (for any evening work) Hours: Monday to Friday, day shift with an early finish on Fridays Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer seeking a role with excellent work-life balance and genuine career progression? Our client, a large and well-established manufacturing company based in Antrim, is recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join their growing engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a modern, high-volume production site where you'll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly and efficiently. The Role As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and improvement of all plant machinery and equipment, ensuring the site operates at peak performance. Key Responsibilities: Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a range of production equipment. Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and implement timely repairs to reduce downtime. Support continuous improvement projects and contribute ideas to enhance reliability and efficiency. Work closely with production teams to ensure smooth running of operations. Maintain accurate maintenance records and comply with all health, safety, and quality standards. Support engineering projects, upgrades, and installations as required. About You Time-served or qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or a related discipline). Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production environment (essential). Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance and reliability. Confident in both mechanical and electrical fault finding. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
