Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a proactive Maintenance Engineer to join our fast-paced team. Youll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of automated and robotic machinery to ensure safety, efficiency, and minimal downtime. Reporting to the Engineering Manager your hours of work are 42.5 hours per week Mon Fri and we can be flexible i.e. 7am to 4pm, 8am to 5pm etc. Key Responsibilities: Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance, including fault-finding and repairs Support new equipment installations and liaise with contractors Plan maintenance around production schedules Maintain accurate logs and manage spare parts inventory Contribute to continuous improvement and uphold safety standards What Youll Need: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering At least 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of PLC systems, robotics, and paint spraying processes Ability to read electrical drawings Excellent communication, IT skills, and a team-oriented mindset Desirable: Engineering degree Experience in the woodworking industry Mechatronics background Ability to use CAD software Personal Qualities: Positive, adaptable, and eager to learn Self-motivated with a drive to deliver results If you wish to apply for this role please forward your CV by clicking Apply below.
