Maintenance Engineer -
Full-time | Multi-skilled | Manufacturing | Shift-based We're currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join the Operations team in Plymouth. This is a great opportunity for a time-served engineer with a mechanical bias who enjoys working in a fast-paced, safety-critical manufacturing environment. You'll be responsible for both planned preventative maintenance and responding to machine breakdowns , helping to improve asset reliability and ensuring machinery is safe, compliant, and efficient. Ideal for someone with strong fault-finding skills and a proactive mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Perform planned preventative maintenance across plant equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical and basic electrical faults. Support machinery installations, moves, and overhauls. Improve reliability and cost-effectiveness of assets. Work with single/three-phase circuits and basic PLC systems. Adhere to all H&S and environmental standards. Engage in continuous improvement and 5S initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
Time-served Maintenance Engineer (ideally mechanical bias). Experience in manufacturing or heavy industry.<...
