Maintenance Engineer

A fantastic opportunity for a driven and hands-on professional with both mechanical and electrical skills to play a key role in maintaining and improving our operations. Key Responsibilities: Carry out reactive and planned preventative maintenance on production equipment and facilities Diagnose faults and perform effective repairs on electrical and mechanical systems Work with other departments to minimise downtime and improve productivity Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with health & safety standards Requirements: Time-served or qualified in mechanical/electrical engineering (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC, etc.) Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role within a manufacturing or similar environment Strong fault-finding skills in both electrical and mechanical disciplines Experience with PLCs, motors, conveyors, pneumatics, or hydraulics is advantageous Flexible and proactive approach with excellent problem-solving abilities Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
