Maintenance Engineer

Location: Shrewsbury

Salary: £40,000 to £45,000

An opportunity has opened for a Maintenance Engineer to join an engineering company based in Shrewsbury. The ideal candidate will have excellent hands on engineering skills with experience of repairing, servicing and installing machinery.

The majority of the work will be at their Shrewsbury site and is primarily mechanical biased but with some basic electrical work.

Maintenance Engineer Key Skills:

* Background as a Mechanical Engineer, Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer or similar

* Mechanical Engineering experience

* Maintenance, servicing and repairs experience

* Any installation experience would be a bonus

* Troubleshooting / fault finding experience

* Pneumatics / Hydraulics machinery experience

Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:

* Providing maintenance on installed systems and inspecting

* Servicing and providing emergency breakdown support

* Fault find and upgrading of machinery

* Installing new electrical and mechanical systems

* Documenting any changes and repairs made

* Customer support if there are any problems to installed machinery and systems
