Overview

We are looking for a multi-faceted colleague to join our maintenance team, supporting our veterinary practice’s in the West London region on a full-time Monday to Friday basis.

Our maintenance team play an integral part in the running of our practices and are responsible for all aspects of keeping our premises upheld to the highest standards and safety.

Responsibilities

  • General maintenance, repair, and upkeep of our veterinary practices, internally and externally.
  • Detecting and reporting any defects or damage.
  • Completing all tasks as delegated in a timely manner.
  • Complying with the industry standards and safety regulations of working.
  • To always observe the company’s health and safety policy on site and report any concerns.
  • To liaise with external Contractors.
  • Hours of work are 7.30am to 3.30pm 5 days a week Monday to Friday, and occasional overtime may be required to finish a job.

Qualifications

  • Clean driving licence is essential (vehicle will be provided)
  • Multi-skilled maintenance person.
  • Experience in general carpentry, plastering, painting & decorating.
  • Must hold at least one trade skill qualification.
  • Plumbing experience would be an advantage, but not essential.
  • Experience installing kitchens and bathrooms is preferred.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlines.
  • Should be a good team worker and have the ability to coordinate work with fellow workers.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills
  • Being an animal lover would help!

What we offer

The salary band for our full-time maintenance role is £32,240 to £33,425 dependant on prior experience.

  • 6.6 weeks annual leave including bank holidays (pro rata)
  • Company vehicle and fuel card
  • Paid lunch breaks
