A Maintenance Engineer position has become available within a business that supplies products into sectors such as marine, defence, agricultural, and general engineering. The business offers a full machining service, ISO 9001 and DNV approved, with rapid prototyping and reverse engineering capabilities, supplying technically challenging cast components across Europe.
Maintenance Engineer key responsibilities:
Perform general repairs and ongoing servicing of machinery on-site. Diagnose and resolve faults as needed. Basic welding and fabrication (these skills can be further developed) Implement preventive and corrective maintenance. React promptly to any machine breakdowns, solving problems efficiently. Monitor and maintain maintenance tools, stores, and equipment.
Maintenance Engineer desired skills and experience:
Proven experience within heavy engineering manufacturing environments. Flexibility with overtime needs Relevant manufacturing/engineering qualifications
