We are looking for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer to join our team of hardworking engineers. Our turnover is over £55 million a year, establishing the success the business has.
Duties and Responsibilities:
\n Risk assessing all jobs before work begins.
\n
Undertaking planned preventative maintenance and lubrication schedule on plant assets such as: pumps, motors, gearboxes, and valves.
\n
Completion of reactive tasks as per defect list, obtain readings from various onsite meters and completion of relevant check sheets.
\n
Assisting with contractor and third-party asset services and general housekeeping.
\n
Complete all logs and job sheets as required.
\n
Actively participate in projects, continuous improvement, and modern manufacturing principles.
\n
Be expected to adhere to all Health and Safety Regulations and required to attend Health and Safety, Fire and Welfare Training both on and off site.
\n
To install and maintain equipment ensuring minimum interruptions to production.
\n
Experience and Qualification:
Multi-skilled or mechanically biased NVQ3 minimum mechanical engineering Time served engineer
